The fire dept. in Tuscaloosa inspects homes for proper smoke-alarm placement & provides free smoke alarms. This year, our neighborhood is included in the covered area. I didn't know they did this, but I think it's a wonderful service. I hope my neighbors took advantage of the opportuni9ty.
Last year, a dozen garden spiders. This year, none :( I saw the egg sacs....
