the new documentary, "Speaking Evolution," with panel discussion


The ALLELE series at the University of Alabama mainly consists of scientific lectures about various topics related to evolution. The format will be a little different this coming Thursday. The new Alabama Public Television documentary, "Speaking Evolution," will be aired and followed by a panel discussion. This documentary, made by the Alabama Museum of Natural History, answers the question: why do the products of natural selection look so much like design? the program is narrated by Debbie Elliott, and features many of the world's best-known evolution experts.

The show begins at 7:30 PM, this Thursday, on the University of Alabama campus in Tuscaloosa, in North Lawn Hall room 211. It is free and open to the public.
