Listening to Humble Pie... Meanwhile, the climate, she's a changin'.  Read "Vision in Silver," by Anne Bishop. 5 stars. 3rd of 4 (so far) novels about an Earth on which humans are a minority species, and creatures of magic (werewolves, vampires, elementals, etc) rule. A few things are hard to believe, even w/in this context. E.g., why does 1 little town seem to be home for fire, wind, spring, winter, etc. But the writing and characterization r so good, I don't care. Read these, in order.
