Asimov's Science Fiction pays for poetry per line. Which means that a very short poem, like a haiku, pays less than your typical small-press magazine. Whereas, a palm about as long as they will take them, somewhere in the vicinity of 25 lines,, pays about as much as the best small press zines. Of course, more people will read your haiku in Asimov's than in Scifaikuest, even though the pay is about the same.

Asimov's apparently pays a $5.00 minimum for shorter works -- at least that's what I was paid for a number of 2 and 3 liners.
I've also had poems longer than 25 lines (32 and 38) accepted by the magazine.
