The last time the climate was hit this hard, about three quarters of all species on the planet perished. We were lucky enough to not be around that time. The worst one, much earlier, wiped out 95%. There is still hope that, working together, we can keep this present extinction to a distant third in the competition. After all, we are the reason it is happening.
