Politics goes around and comes around

I am reading the herblock book, by Herbert block. commentary and cartoons from the late 1940s. I've had this book for quite a while, but this is the first time I'm going through and reading everything. and recent events are foreshadowed to an alarming degree. he was a great cartoonist though, and a really funny writer.

Halloween with one foot out of the grave

okay, that was pretty melodramatic. I did spend a week in the hospital and I am still there, but finally on the mend. and, one of the 25 hourly Halloween haiku published at haikuniverse.com, was by me this year. it was not the best. I urge you to read all of them!
