Back home, and the house plants seem to still be alive. The dog was frantic. The mail  was mostly junk.




Returning home from summer vacation



Everyone complains about the heat:
Kansas, Missouri,  Alabama

yes, it's hot,
but the rain keeps falling
flowers keep blooming
and it's still true
that air conditioning was invented
long ago
