Viral Bark



Worse than its bite,

tighter than cork,

weaker than cinnamon,

less addictive than almond,

and, safe as houses, hah!


Pustules are not its issue,

yet,

streaks ill-become it,

so far,

but its genes,

loose as a stripped screw.


So, genomically, it's going somewhere,

anywhere, everywhere;

it's going to be selected,

naturally.

And its bark, now?

nowhere NEAR as bad as its bite.
