help me find a short story I read back in high school.
Premise: man wakes up on a cruise ship. Can't recall how he got there but recalls that it was after a near death experience. Has vivid dreams about raveling through space. Soon realizes everyone on the ship had a near death experience and that hey are indeed all dead. Each night he travels further in space and sons come to peace with his death.
Do you know the name or the author of this? I vividly recall it was in an anthology of short stories, but I can't really the length of the story, it's date, the title, or the author. Nor the nationality. Either British or American.
