I don't know if anyone I know heard me on The Rankins Files yesterday evening. The station's website was down. It seems the thrust of the show is like the Dos Equis commercial: "I don't always write poetry, but when I do..." crossed with "Kids! Try this at home!" Which is all good. I did mention SFPA, & that, where they live, they can find fossils. Deborah told me that a 600-pound alligator was captured in her neck of the woods (actually, in a major river). She said she no longer walks along the riverbank's empty places, which is sad.
Next September: I talk about fossils! (Maybe read a fossil poem.)
