Evolution lecture 100214

The lecture will be in the biology department auditorium, the University of Alabama campus, in Tuscaloosa, right across the street from my office. Tony Martin will be talking about dinosaur Burrows, nests, footprints, poop, and many other kinds of trace fossils. Trace fossils, records of ancient behavior, can tell us a lot about their makers and about evolution. The lecture is free.

And now for something completely different

Which Monty Python movie featured animal traces of almost biblical proportions? That's right, Jabberwocky. Jurassic Park, same deal except without feathers.
