Exploring the Organic Arm
We next came to the planet of hearts
Bovine hearts, feline hearts
Cetacean hearts, canid hearts
Hart hearts, human hearts
Some we did not recognize
Mountainous hearts
Thrusting up from the cardiac plains
A bloody sea pumping ceaselessly
Against a bloody shore
The whole planet throbbing
To a belly-jellying beat
Loosening bolts and setting anything
That could be moved abouncing
En fin, we just couldn't take it
We returned to Intestinal World
Where we felt right at home.
