Remember Mars

A small planet,

Dead for billennia,

Its pipsqueak moons,

Hardly deserving names,

The orb’s popular in myth,

But, no one cares, anymore,

And sure,

There was that colony, but

c’mon,

200 misfits can’t stop

The progress of science!

It’s not the end of the World!

(Well, it is, technically,

But, seriously,

Does anyone care?)

And the disintegrator works!

That’s the important thing.
