Domestic Weather
Seiche waves in the Jell-O,
Storm clouds in the sink,
A rattling in the pipes,
And I really need a drink.
They call it stormy Monday,
Clouds are rolling down the hall,
What I said to set you off,
I really can’t recall.
It's so great when we make love,
My hairs they proudly rise,
But I have to look away,
The lightning in your eyes.
Flood waters risen to my waist,
Know what I have to do,
In extremis be a man,
Apologize to you.
