Text banking voters, urging them to plonk their ballots down. Feels good to take political action. I recommend it. Never lived in a battleground state, only under the fascist umbrella, except for two glorious years in the sun. A place funnily called the Empire State. So I do sympathize with those living under the pressure of ads, calls, and texts. All I got this year were eight slick outsize postcards from a person running for reelection to the school board. And one each from three opponents. He wants excessive high-stakes testing and other useless/harmful policies, so I voted against him.
