I wake up hot every morning, even in winter, because my bed blows hot air up through a thick layer of fake silicone sand. It's real silicone, but it is fake sand. I get up out of bed and I just need a t-shirt. Pretty soon after, even in summer (because of AC), I need a wool hat. Later still, for much of the year, I need a long-sleeve shirt or a scarf or both. I was rarely cold back in the good old days, before I became a quadriplegic. I was comfortable throughout the temperature range of 50-100F. Now? 75-85. On a minute-to-minute basis that is probably the thing I miss the most.
