The backyard has dried out enough, for the first time this winter (tho can you still call it winter when it's 85F?), that I took a glorious trip out to the garden. This being southern Louisiana, the February vegetable garden was already growing strong. Picking the last broccoli before it flowers, snow peas fattening on the vine, picking full-size carrots and onions, thinning the radishes for tasty bites. The herb garden ready for harvest: thyme, three kinds of mint, two kinds of parsley, and of course green promises everywhere.

Am I bragging? Yes I am, tho I'm not the gardener.
