If The Universe Is One Big Black Hole
Our black-hole cosmos,
too wide for spanning
with photonic arms,
dying stars and planets
stream in from outside,
their throes beam to us
across the constantly
receding event horizon,
at the slow slow speed of light;
the cosmos may swallow
whole galaxies of them,
but we'll never know—
their final gasps still receding
when the last proton dies.
