My wife was a school teacher, and still has nightmares about walking into the wrong classroom, forgetting a lesson she was supposed to teach, having to teach a subject she knew nothing about, not being able to find the school, taking kids on a field trip and losing some of them, etc. I'm a scientist, and I dream about being retired (which I am), and strolling into the office, giving free advice to people who are happy to receive it, and finding a hornet's nest of folks worried about layoffs. Not what it was like in real life. Stressful jobs lead to bad dreams that persist years into retirement.
