I had a very peculiar dream. In it, I was putting on false nails, something I've never done in my life, or even contemplated. These nails came as a narrow long strip of white plastic. You were supposed to cut off parts of the appropriate lengths and glue them over your natural nails. Well I didn't measure anything, I just cut the strip in half by eye and went on from there. Each piece was about an inch too long, so I just trimmed them to fit (after gluing them on), with a pair of scissors. When I did this, the piece I put on my left pinky, the last nail to be done, was too wide. I wrongly interpreted this to be a result of my cutting the piece to the wrong length, so I did everything again. With, of course, the same result. On top of everything else, irl I would never have done this without measuring. I probably threw away enough of the plastic each time to go through the whole process again, each time I did it. As for why I had this dream, I can only imagine it was because last night my daughter was doing her nails. Needless to say, this dream method is not how she did them.
Another peculiarity, the first time I did it I was in some sort of room, but the second time I was on a moving bus. No explanation for why I would try to do that in a moving vehicle.
