The atheist found herself at the Pearly Gates, which stood wide open. To one side stood a lectern. She looked around, but didn't see anyone. It looks like the Universalists were right, she said to herself, She walked through the gates, not without a feeling that she was trespassing. Inside, she saw a group of people some way off. They were disposed in small clusters, as though they were at a cocktail party. She didn't see any wings or halos. She joined the throng and was asked “White or red?” She recognized some folks whose funerals she'd attended. Unitarians, then.
