My wheelchair van had engine trouble, and I was worried enough about it to check out prices for used vans of the kind I like. I require a manual rear entry ramp. Ramps are much less prone to breaking down than lifts, and a rear-entry van lets you park in any parking place without an empty space beside you. So many hassles avoided by these features! If you need a wheelchair van, you need the kind that I prefer. Or, you could choose to be aggravated periodically.

As it turned out, we just needed to replace the thermostat, at a cost of $240. The vans I found for sale were $51,000 and up! These are used! I hope mine keeps going for a long long long time.
