Waiting for an MRI. It took the nurses 5 failed and painful attempts to start the IV before they called the nurse, the one that every hospital has, who can put one in when no one else can do it. One try, I didn't even feel it, and we're rolling. Next time, I know who I'm going to call!
This test is to determine whether there is any place worth zapping with radiation that hasn't already been zapped to whack-a-mole cancer's ugly head. Apparently this is sort of like the couplet from the Necronomicon:
Radiation kills cancer, and that's no lie,
But in second innings all your cells may die.
