We were pretty sure that Ronald Reagan was going to end the world. It seemed like his finger was hovering over the red button the whole time he was in office. And, like Trump, he was senile. Instead, he just removed a few pieces of wood from the lower part of the Jenga of democracy. In retrospect, drawing out the agony probably hurt more.
