I have a collection of Astounding/Analog magazines reaching back to the late 40s, although I don't have every issue. I have been rereading them, and really enjoying rediscovering forgotten gems. Read a 1952 article by Willy Ley on how fireworks were made. I generally skip the science articles, but I have a fondness for Ley, because as a child I had a large format picture book on rocketry that he wrote. By the time I left home it had pretty much fallen apart.
