europa’s eyes
europa’s
eyes are pools of ice wherein new life is hid;
a
shifting web of mystery, beneath hot passion’s lid.
europa
lies across the miles on which I yearn to sail,
and
I long to penetrate her ever-shifting veil.
europa’s
thighs are jupiter’s, I know this to be true,
but
despite his stormy love, I dare his bride to woo.
when
europa sighs I know she yearns for me alone,
I
pine for her, imprisoned on my stony terran home.
