Another Living Fossil
It was all over the news:
13-foot mosasaur,
giant sea-going lizard,
fishbelly white,
not seen since the
comet killed most of the dinos,
washed up on the coast
of Mozambique,
coelacanth parts in its gut,
sucker scars all over;
like so many relics,
it'd retreated to the deep.
We should've known, really:
giant squids gotta eat!
