The First Cajuns
some crustacean
known only from its burrows
grew fat under a Paleozoic sun
would have made good eating
if they'd had shrimp-boil spices back then

Secret geology
So I have a new secret project. Not a poetry project, a geology project. A friend found something pretty unusual in a road cut only a couple of hours away from here. He recognized that it was remarkable and I think it might be more than just remarkable. So, a couple of us are going to investigate, as soon as we have time. This is probably the most fun part of a project, when anything could happen.
