Sorting through the files in an unlabeled paper grocery bag, I found our marriage license, last seen in 2003. That's a relief! Street legal again. Also found small-press SF zines from previous decades, 15-year-old receipts, and the key to a safety deposit box that hasn't been ours since 1989. Probably should clean house more often.

I found an envelope on the bottom of a pile of what's best described as "stuff." It was full of DN submissions, apparently sent 9 or 10 years ago. Oops. Fortunately, I'm still in touch with the artist. I mailed him a check and returned some of the pictures. It may not be a coincidence that 2 days later I attended a fundraiser that used a home-made version of Jeopardy. Every apostrophe and comma in the clues was misused. Still fun, though.
