Grandfather Paradox
On my last trip to the Proterozoic,
I was eating lunch,
and spilled my stew into a tidal pool:
a veritable primordial soup, it was.
Well, back to the future I go,
fearing the worst,
but everything’s the same,
even that hideous vase
her mother gave us--
I’d really hoped that would be gone at least.
