Sometimes, you get the fish, and sometimes the hook is actually caught in the corner of the mouth of a giant mutated radioactive lizard, vaguely like a cross between Stegosaurus and Tyrannosaurus, that is planning to vent its fury at your assault by burning and crushing just about everything on your puny little island.

The radiation treatment is finished. And I have to say that the staff at the cancer center at DCH are so nice and so professional, they are truly a pleasure to work with. But I hope I never see any of them again.

Seven days of cancer radiation treatment under my belt so far. So far,  no discernible side effects.

The doctors started trying to kill a part of me today, the part that wants to kill all of me. Or, if I want to anthropomorphize it even further, it's suicidal, and doesn't care what it takes along with it when it goes.
