on Mercury
lead doesn't even boil

the coolest pad
this side of Pluto
Mercury's icy pole

water ice
at Mercury's poles
easiest place to colonize
in the whole dang solar system after Mars of course

Mercury quake
inundates the station
molten lead

022719c

too bright to wear shades
by the lake of lead
"Hot enough for ya?"

053118

when Mercury's up
sun wolves howl
partnerships are brief

051118

sunrise
on mercury
windows melt

040318c

spring on Mercury
the lead floes break up
and metallic fish
swim upstream to spawn

Comfortable by 7 a; hot by 8: it's heeeeeeere! Soon it'll only be comfortable til sunrise.

stray east
of the habitable strip
the buggy melts

070313

Mercury Dome hot side
buried deep to escape the heat
cosmothermal AC piped from where the sun don't shine
frost on the file cabinets
5-layered look just not enough
she flicks on the tiny space heater
defies the new law
