talking together
for the first time in a year
restaurants we've missed
1. Both halves.
2. Split an orange and eat.
3. Even your toes thirst.
4. Lost in the desert of your home.
5. Meanwhile, you're
6. They may all be dead.
7. When did you last see someone face to face?
8. Have been sucked dry.
9. Your books, your shows,
10. Your blind spot consumes it all.
11. Forever.
12. Life recedes at pandemic speed,

Harvesting cabbage and planting basil
After nights of strange dreams
Lying down in winter
Waking up in summer
Last week I missed about three days. If I had Covid, it was a very mild case. welcome to the workshop
there will be no handouts
please maintain your distance at all times
found something perplexing?
don't put your heads together
hold the fossil at arm's length
don't share your hand lenses
observe cool items
one at a time
at lunch
do not touch the outside of the clamshell
shout your thoughts so all can here
sorry, bathrooms are locked for the duration

or chat
and eat our separate turkeys
constant low-level worry
why doesn't he wear a mask?
could virus be seeping through hers?
who walked here, coughing, just before I came
and did they touch this knob?
is too much air creeping
under my mask edge?
should I update my will?
