If you thought food additives could be dangerous, you were right. Also, chemicals can move from packaging to food. There's evidence some of these suppress the immune system. So packaged food, and fast food, can make you more susceptible to Covid-19.

Last week I missed about three days. If I had Covid, it was a very mild case. Given my track record, it could have just as easily been the common cold, because I don't usually have mild cases of anything. I am back on track with Dreams and Nightmares and I think I will more or less eliminate the backlog of submissions today.

When I say "grapefruit diet," do you think "weird fad of yesteryear" or do you think "Zoot Suit Riot," the perfect song for Weird Al to mock with his comedic genius? Well, no contest. Stop what you're doing, drop everything (unless you are holding crockery) and stream "grapefruit diet!" Follow that up with almost any other song by Weird Al, and tears will be running down your cheeks. And after all, in the year of the Trump virus, maybe laughter is still the best medicine. I sure hope so, since we still can't get enough doses of vaccine.

DJT did us one big favor. He made 9-11 almost seem like a bump in the road, and he's the gift that keeps on giving.
