Dreams and Nightmares update. I didn't get subscriber copies of 117 mailed last week as I hoped, but they are ready to go out.

I am reading submissions today and will get it down to no more than a handful by the end of the day. I am reading for 119, which is due out in September of this year. 118 is full of poetry, though I could use a few more filler illustrations. 119 is almost full already.

Print copies are five dollars each, $25 for a six-issue subscription. PDF copies are one dollar each, and I have almost every single issue back to the beginning. If you want all of those, a lifetime PDF subscription including all back issues is $39. A lifetime subscription to the print copies is normally $90, but it's on sale this month for $75. That includes all available back issues, which is roughly a dozen, and it also includes a PDF subscription and back issues. All of these things can be had by sending money via PayPal to jopnquog@gmail.com. If you would rather write a check, make it out to me and mail it to 1300 Kicker Rd., Tuscaloosa, AL 35404.

I have almost caught up with submissions to Dreams and Nightmares. Please send poems and artwork for issue 115, due to be published in May 2020. Issue 114 is about ready to go out for proofing.

As always, PDF copies are one dollar each and print copies are five dollars each. Send payment via PayPal to jopnquog@gmail.com. I have PDF copies of almost every single issue, and print copies of about the last dozen issues. Lifetime print subscriptions are normally $90, but between now and the end of the year, lifetime subscriptions are $75. These include all available back issues. A lifetime PDF subscription is $39.

SALE

Dreams and Nightmares 110 was published last month (Contents: https://dreamsandnightmaresmagazine.blogspot.com/2018/10/102118.html). DN, first published in 1986, is one of the oldest extant speculative-poetry magazines. Normally, print copies are five dollars and PDF copies are one dollar. For the rest of this month, print copies are $3 each. A lifetime subscription to the print magazine, including all available back issues, is normally $90; now it’s $60. A lifetime subscription to PDFs, including all available back issues (nearly all of them), normally $39, is $20 through December. I prefer payments via PayPal to jopnquog@gmail.com, but a check made out to me, and sent to 1300 Kicker Rd., Tuscaloosa AL 35404 works just fine. And if you want to submit poetry or art, payment for accepted works is $12 on acceptance + 2 copies.

Subscribe and get a free e-book

Subscribe to Dreams and Nightmares ($25/6 print issues or $6/6 pdf issues) and get a free e-copy of my 2003 chapbook The Ruined City. The title suggests doom and gloom, and there's plenty of that, but not everything goes south, by any means. So buy great SF/fantasy poetry by some of today's best, and get a free chapbook of some of my best dark fantasy poetry.

Dreams and Nightmares 103 update

The issue is ready to put in the mail, but I have to scrounge up the money to make that happen. If anyone wanted to subscribe, or even just buy a sample copy, right about now, that would help a lot.

PayPal to jopnquog@gmail.com
print copy $5 (All prices postpaid)
pdf $1
six-issue print subscription $25
lifetime PDF subscription including all back issues $39
lifetime subscription in both formats including all back issues in both formats $90

Or, check made out to David Kopaska-Merkel, sent to 1300 Kicker Rd., Tuscaloosa AL 35404

I haven't done any traditional crowdfunding for several reasons. One of them is that there are a lot of things in this world more urgent than reading poetry. I just don't like to put myself out there in the same marketplace where people are raising money to pay for cancer treatment.

If you can't buy anything right now, I am still going to mail the issue. It will just take a couple more weeks.
